XC Tracer II Flarm Firmware Changelog R01: Bug fix in update code R02: Small bug fix in Flarm code R03: Improvements in KML / IGC logger R04: Double Tap implemented. During an obstacle alarm it is possible to deactivate the alarm for the next 120s in applying a double tap on the vario. This is helpful when spiralling close to a known cable. 120s should be enough time to climb away from the cable. R05: Improved sensor data fusion code. Small bug fix in Flarm code. R06: Minor bug fixes. R07: GPS sentence is now parsed when sentence is fully received. Improves stability and reliability of sensor data fusion code. R08: Small improvements in logger and stringbuilder. Bugfix in Flarm code so that the new Flarm version 7.0 can now get installed. Update first XC Tracer II Flarm firmware with R08, and then install the new Flarm firmware 7.0 R09: Flarm Radio ID can now be requested sending $PFLAC,R,RADIOID over BLE. Response is then something like $PFLAC,A,RADIOID,2,200018*7C Included new KF with improved wind estimation. Baro altitude in LXWP0 is now fixed. All Flarm traffic is now forwarded over BLE / USB R10: Improved firmware upload for Flarm firmware update and obstacle upload. Device does no longer switch off after flight. Like this the Flarm will continue to send radio packets, that may be very helpful in case of a SAR mission. Always switch your XC Tracer II Flarm off after landing, this will no longer be made automatically! Very imporant when you want to update the firmware of XC Tracer II Flarm Copy first the new firmware to the SD card, don't remove the USB cable Press the red button and wait! XC Tracer II Flarm will finally switch on in USB-MSC mode. Only now switch off XC Tracer II Flarm and remove the USB cable. The config file will get updated once the vario is switched on on flight mode.
