XC Tracer Maxx III Firmware Changelog

R01: Initial release

R02: Fixed bug in IGC logger where in rare cases logging stopped mid-flight.
     Buddy screen shows now buddies with names and numbers, similar to Maxx / Maxx II.
     Added an additional screen, where the wind values received over Fanet are displayed.
     Wind is displayed as icons, 0-5km/h is a circle with a dot. 5-15km/h is a short arrow
     15-25km/h is an arrow with the same length and width, 25-35km/h shows a lengthy arrow,
     and more than 35km/h shows a very pointed arrow.
     Wind is displayed for one second, then the next second the gust is shown etc.    
     Icon size for wind icons is configurable.
     On both wind screen and buddy screen circles with distance of 2km or 5km can get enabled.
     Firmware adapted for new radio firmware, so that Fanet packets do parse the wind information.
     Zoom of wind screen and buddy screen can now get changed without delay. Press and hold the 
     button of the remote control to switch to the next zoom level. Zoom levels can get defined
     in screen options for buddy screen / wind screen. Zoom level settings are identical for both screens.

R03: Fix in IGC logger to keep SD card alive.
     Fixed bug when diplaying "File Transfer Mode".
     Changed BLE pairing so that this can only be done in the small window when the Maxx III logo is visible on the screen.
     Distance rings are now independent from wind screen to buddy screen.
     Fixed zoom for buddy and wind screen.


R04: Added thermal hotspots. Display is on wind screen using black dots. Thermal hotspots are only displayed on the page with the smallest screen size
     Modified firmware update. 0 byte files crashed the memory banks.
     Thermal screen no longer needs to be screen 2 to have the automatic switching to the thermal screen.

R05: Switched from NMEA to binary parsing of GPS data. Fixed bug in RTC, is now correct.

R06: reset=yes does now reset all the settings to a correct state.
     Radio information is now read even without GPS reception.
     Hotspot update is now working correctly. Fixed bug in writing to memory.
     Removed radio expiry date from device info, added hotspot version.

R07: Fixed bug in GPS parser that created all kind of issues.
     Wind icons are now drawn after the hotspot points


     Important: Use the webapp my.xctracer.online for updates! After first installation of R04 you also need to install the hotspot.bin file using the webapp!
     Activate the hotspots in the wind screen options!
